Ball in the Bucket - An old fairground classic and not as easy as it looks? Throw your 3 balls skillfully into the bucket and see if you can get them to stay in, without bouncing back out...Oh no, better have another go!

Helter Skelter Hoopla - Stand behind the line and try and throw your 3 hoops over the Helter Skelter towers. Great fun! and lots of concentration and good hand, eye coordination needed...Go on, have a go, you can do it!

Stand the Bottle - A real game of frustration!...Carefully ease the ring on the end of the fishing type rod, over the neck of the bottle and try and stand it up. Sounds easy? well it's not and it'll drive you crazy trying. We've had them there for hours trying, as no one likes to give up.
Always played with the old glass Coke bottles. Room for 3 players

Coconut Shy - or Shie - Not so many found on modern
fairgrounds, but still popular at vintage fairs and a staple of fetes and fundays up and down the Country. Needs little explanation, take aim and throw the balls hard enough and you might be lucky enough to knock a coconut off it's stand? Timeless fun. |
